:: the maid
just finished watching the maid on vcd. though i'd prefer watching shows on dvd as compared to vcds, but i didn't realised that i'd rented vcds instead until the time when the counter boy was processing my rental. guess it pays to pay a little more attention before proceeding to checkout my rental discs next time. well the maid isn't exactly scary in terms of its effects, but i found the storyline kinda spooky actually. in fact, it has an extremely good twist that nobody would've expected until the very end of the show. singapore films actually are of high quality i believe, and perhaps it's time for me to check out other local films soon.
and while i was on my way back from lunch today, a middle-aged lady approached me for one dollar. surprising huh, that some stranger would just walk towards you and ask for one dollar straight. well i was quite hesistant at first, but in the end i just dug out a dollar coin and passed it to her. what a weird encounter, really.
